EURES TMS - search and find advice

Are you considering an occupational change to another EU country, Norway or Iceland? Perhaps you have already found a suitable job offer or even have a job in prospect? However, you still recognise some obstacles in your way - e.g. lack of language skills or high costs. You may not even be thinking about some of the challenges. What about social security, for example?

Knowing what you need to consider before taking the step of taking up work in another country is a prerequisite for successful labour mobility. Individual information and counselling helps to make a well-informed decision. This is why counselling is also a prerequisite for EURES TMS support.

EURES, the European network for the support of occupational mobility, trains EURES counsellors every year. In some administrations, the "EURES canon" is already a matter of course in many areas.

If you are interested in making use of the support of EURES and EURES TMS, you can easily find an EURES adviser in your region of origin or in your country of destination via the EURES portal. If you feel unconfident in the language of the target country or in English, it makes sense to first get in touch with EURES in your country of origin and seek advice there. The form of counselling can vary. In some cases, you will first receive an email with basic information and links and then contact the counsellor with further questions.

If you are looking for a job in Germany or would like to start working there, the Customer Centre of the International Placement Services (ZAV) is your central point of contact, also for questions about EURES TMS support.
