EURES TMS support for companies
Funding requirements for companies in the "Your EURES Job 5" (YEJ 5) project in other target countries
The training programme funding module is also offered in other target countries as part of the cooperation in the project consortium. Partner organisations in the consortium of the project manage sub-projects in their respective countries in sectors in which the shortage of skilled labour force and low or unsuitable qualifications are restricting the general public or preventing necessary transformation processes.
As a company, you will receive advice and support from the EURES partners throughout the entire process. The funding amount for each new employee is up to €1,500 for the training programme, depending on the offer. 5% of the total cost of the training programme must be borne by the company.
The counselling of participating employees by an EURES adviser is also a mandatory requirement, but above all it is a central pillar for ensuring sustainable and fair working conditions.
The training programme can be applied for up to the end of the third month of employment, so please contact your responsible EURES service by the end of the second month of employment at the latest. You will then receive individual and systematic advice and support from our cooperation partner. This will ensure that the right conditions are in place to start the necessary training programme in your company.
Information on the current projects and the respective consortium can be found here ("Our projects, our partners").
Eligibility requirements:
- Your new employee is at least 18 years old, is a national of one of the 27 EU member states, Norway or Iceland or is a third-country national with an EU permanent residence permit in accordance with the EU Directive 2003/109/EC and is legally resident in one of these countries.
- As part of the recruitment process, your applicants have been supported by an EURES Adviser in their country of origin or destination.
- The employment contract lasts at least six months, or three months in the case of internships, and the working hours are at least 50% of a full-time position.
- The employment is subject to social security contributions, complies with statutory and collectively agreed provisions and is paid at least the statutory minimum wage.
- The maximum amount of funding per company is €60,000 during the project period.
- No profit is allowed to be generated from the support of the training programme (non-profit principle).
- If comparable financial support is available at national level, this offer must be prioritised (subsidiarity principle).
- All eligibility requirements must be met for the entire duration of the grant.
- Employers, who receive TMS support, are committing to the values of fair mobility and transparent, respectful cooperation with the EURES TMS consortium and associated partners. There is no legal entitlement to receive a EURES TMS grant. Applications may be rejected if they do not meet the eligibility criteria and the values of EURES TMS support.
What we do not support:
- companies that do not communicate transparently about recruitment pathways and relevant cooperation partners (e.g. language course providers)
- the support of language courses without an employment contract in the context of job placement e.g. by personnel service providers or temporary employment agencies (pool formation),
- the posting of employees to work in another country,
- placement in positions in European bodies and institutions and other international political, economic, social and scientific organisations as well as supranational regulatory bodies and their agencies,
- vocational training programmes (internships), of which the completion is a mandatory requirement for access to a profession in certain sectors and part of a course of study (e.g. medicine, architecture, law, aviation industry, etc.)
- companies that seek or make a profit by using TMS support services (non-profit principle)
In the case of recruitment by temporary employment agencies or placement by commercial recruitment and placement agencies, the number of subsidised cases is limited to 40 per temporary employment agency or placement agency within the scope of the entire project in line with the prohibition of profit. The relevant time for registering the number is the receipt of the enquiry with all the necessary documents and proof of EURES advice.
